About Our Practice and the Services We Offer
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Schoen and Dr. Zidron manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. They practice the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from Dental Implant Surgery and Wisdom Tooth Removal to Corrective Jaw Surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We can also diagnose and treat Facial Pain, Facial Injuries and Fractures.
Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) Sedation and/or outpatient General Anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
Our surgical staff is experienced and trained to respond to any possible office emergencies. All of our staff members are certified in basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and are re-certified yearly.

Our Treatment Coordinators, Jean, Donna, Michelle and Valerie are here to help you with appointment scheduling. Diane, our Insurance Coordinator will assist you with any concerns regarding insurance coverage .They are ready to answer your questions regarding appointment preparation, office policies, and coordination of care with your regular restorative dentist. They will also help you with an estimation and explanation of your dental and medical insurance coverage.
Our Surgical Care Coordinators, Alicia, Karen, Lisa and Debra will make you comfortable before, during, and after your office visits. They will review important information important with you before and after your surgical visit and are happy to answer any questions about your office visits.
