Military Precision, Civilian Compassion
His impressive educational background includes a Doctorate from the University of Illinois Dental School, as well as an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency with the U.S. Army and completion with honors in a 4-year Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program.
Dr. Thompson’s military service honed his skills under unique pressures, where precision and adaptability are paramount. He served as Chief of Surgery for Head, Neck and Dental Trauma Research Detachment at Great Lakes Naval Station in Fort Bliss, Texas.
Clinical Interests and Advanced Skills
Dr. Thompson specializes in maxillofacial pathology and trauma and the management of complex patients. He has completed notable courses such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support, as well as the U.S. Army Combat Casualty Care course.
